eww spiders

So, it's no secret that we HATE spiders around here...yet somehow we created a child that is not afraid to touch anything! Despite my cries of "no, don't touch, danger! Scary spider!" Olivia still insisted "I touch it mommy?". I didn't let her for fear it might somehow get off it's web and end up in the house! (note, this is not the actual size, it was much bigger...ha ha) Meanwhile, Luke was inside desperately trying to get out and see what all the fuss was about.

Sharing

We're working on sharing with Olivia these days, which isn't going very well since Luke has decided to infiltrate the toy areas. Some days are good, but most days the time out chair is very warm from Olivia's frequent visits. Yesterday Olivia ate her whole dinner (a rarity in this house) so she was rewarded with a "special treat" which she was kind enough to share with Luke...who of course was very eager to accept. Lucky Luke!

The Family Krout

Welcome to our first blog! We don't really know what we are doing yet, so bear with us while we set up! We're starting this in 2007 when the family is already up and running (2 kids, a house and a yard) but we may include some flashbacks at some point! Hopefully this will keep you 'in the know' as to what is going on with us on a weekly basis! If for some reason one of us should become rich and famous one day, this blog will dissappear...but the chances of that happening are pretty slim at this point!

So, we'll start off our page with some pictures from the past week when Cat and the kids went to visit NJ and say goodbye to cousin Ainsley and Aunt Christine as they prepare to head out to the midwest for a while (we're still holding out hope for an east coast return!).
