Finding things to do

We've had some rainy and snowy and now cold days up here in CT, thus we've been inside a LOT! Which means finding things to do. This is what happens when Olivia takes the camera for a few minutes...she was hanging over the side of her rocking dog when she took these self portraits.

We had a few successful potty training attempts lately. This little guy was a prize. He grows so fast, Olivia the hairdresser can't keep up with her client. Here's a trim in the morning and what he looked like by lunch time!

As for Luke, he's been busy doing the dishes...it's never to early to put them to work. But, he did have a gripe about the pink apron with the 'princess' label on it. I guess I'll have to get him his own uniform.

It's a Pool

The 4 inches of snow, combined with 9 hours straight of rain has turned our backyard into a big soupy pool. I'm checking the basement regularly...so far it's far away from the house, but you never know! It finally stopped raining around 7. Now if it freezes tomorrow, maybe we can go skating!

Imagination

Uncle Kevin came for a visit last week so we took the kids to the Imagination Museum in Bristol. They had a blast! Luke was in his glory in the water room, sticking his hands in the water for 45 minutes while Olivia went "fishing". Olivia got to be on "ESPN" and she even milked a cow (not a real one of course...that would have sent Luke running.
